New collaboration with : KING MIZERY

Mycal King who goes by the name of King Mizery is a Canadian Hip Hop artist of Jamaican and British descent. He earned the Mizery in his name due to his trouble making ways in the streets. Influenced musically by the King side of his family which spans a rich history beginning with his grandfather Eric Lindsay also known as YOUTH RASEMUNG who was born in Jamaica and worked with legends the likes of Alton Ellis, Ken Boothe, Bob Marley and was also part of Studio One as a reggae artist. The musical history in King Mizery’s family does not end there. His father Nyki Lindsay King as well as his uncles Tarie & Kwame were also involved in the music industry. While most people use music being in their blood as a metaphor it rings especially true in King Mizery’s case. King Mizery has already accomplished quite a bit in his career having been invited to open for well renowned artists such as Lloyd Banks, Mobb Deep, Obie Trice, Dax, Onyx, Chris Webby, Jeru The Damaja, Ras Kass and Madchild to name but a few. He hopes that through his work he can carry on the rich history and legacy of his family bloodline as well as inspire his own children to follow in their ancestors footsteps. That is his ambition! Coming off the release of his mixtape called “Lost Treasures” released on March 9th 2020, he is now hard at work on his first full length album entitled “No Competition” which will feature other artists from Montreal.
